Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirement Gathering & Analysis:
    • Engage with key stakeholders including business users, IT teams, and subject matter experts to collect and document comprehensive business requirements.
    • Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and detailed process flows for technical implementation.
  • Process Analysis & Improvement:
    • Evaluate existing dispute management processes to uncover inefficiencies and areas ripe for modernization.
    • Develop and propose process enhancements that utilize Appian s robust capabilities, ensuring improved efficiency, compliance, and user experience.
  • Credit Card Systems Expertise:
    • Utilize in-depth knowledge of credit card systems, with a focus on disputes and chargeback processes aligned with * and Client guidelines.
    • Analyze current practices in relation to industry standards and recommend improvements to maintain compliance and optimize operations.
  • Solution Design & Implementation:
    • Collaborate with the technical team to design, test, and implement modernized solutions on the Appian platform.
    • Oversee the integration of new processes into existing workflows, ensuring smooth transition and minimal disruption.
  • Stakeholder Communication & Training:
    • Serve as the primary liaison between business units and IT, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Prepare training materials and lead training sessions for end-users to promote effective adoption of the new system.
  • Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement:
    • Develop test plans and participate in system testing to validate that solutions meet business requirements.
    • Monitor and assess post-implementation performance and bring forward recommendations for further optimization.
  • Project Management Support:
    • Identify, mitigate, and communicate project risks and issues while ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Technical & Analytical Skills:
    • Solid understanding of business process mapping, requirements elicitation, and functional specification development.
    • Ability to translate complex business challenges into streamlined technical solutions using modern digital tools.
    • Proficiency in agile methodologies and project management best practices.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with diverse teams.
    • Strong analytical mindset with keen attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
    • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.


Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. Master s degree or MBA is a plus.
  • Certifications (Preferred):
    • Business Analysis certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA)
    • Appian-specific certifications or equivalent experience with other low-code platforms.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in business analysis, with a proven track record in technology modernization projects.
    • Demonstrated experience with low-code platforms; prior exposure to Appian is highly preferred.
    • Demonstrated understanding and practical experience in credit card systems, specifically in handling disputes and chargeback processing in adherence with * and Client standards.
    • Familiarity with dispute management systems or card services is an asset.
