What You ll Do
- Manage and maintain secure, air-gapped networks and systems in a classified environment.
- Provide desktop and server administration: imaging, patching, troubleshooting, and application support.
- Administer Active Directory, including user accounts, GPOs, DNS/DHCP, and domain health.
- Oversee virtualization environments (VMware or Hyper-V), ensuring uptime and resource optimization.
- Monitor system logs, support incident response, and maintain configuration baselines.
- Collaborate with security teams to meet RMF and compliance requirements.
- Support system accreditation, audits, and maintain detailed system documentation.
- Occasional after-hours/weekend support and physical equipment handling (up to 40 lbs).
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship
- Active Secret Security Clearance
- CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent IAT Level II certification)
- 3 6 years of system administration experience (or 2+ years with a degree)
- Proficiency in Windows system support, Active Directory, GPOs, and endpoint hardening
- Experience with virtualization platforms and patch management tools (e.g., SCCM, WSUS)
Preferred Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
- Experience in classified or air-gapped environments
- Knowledge of RMF, NISPOM, JSIG/ICD 503, and STIG compliance
- Familiarity with automation tools (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Experience with secure system backups and recovery
