RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Compliance Project Manager (Prevailing Wage and Domestic Content Tax Compliance) in Juno Beach, FL.
Summary:
The Compliance Project Manager is responsible for ensuring adherence to prevailing wage and tax compliance, start of construction, and the domestic content kicker tax credit requirements. This role interprets regulations, develops and maintains compliance frameworks, creates policies, procedures, manages risk, and partners with cross-functional teams to embed compliance into all relevant processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Regulatory Interpretation: Interpret prevailing wage, start of construction and domestic content laws (e.g., Davis-Bacon, IRS classification) and translate them into actionable company policies and procedures
* Compliance Frameworks: Develop, implement, and maintain the compliance strategy and governance playbook for prevailing wage and tax requirements
* Risk Management: Design and manage Notice & Action Plan (NAP) frameworks to proactively identify, assess, and remediate compliance risks
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with legal, HR, operations, and construction teams to ensure compliance is embedded in contracts and construction practices
* Consultant Oversight: Oversee the effectiveness of external consultants and ensure their work aligns with compliance objectives
* Audit & Reporting: Lead audit planning and reviews; And drive executive reporting and risk analysis related to compliance
* Documentation: Create and maintain compliance documentation, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
REQUIREMENTS:
* Deep understanding of prevailing wage law, tax compliance, and regulatory frameworks
* Strategic thinking and strong judgment in compliance matters
* Risk management and mitigation expertise
* Experience collaborating across functions and managing external consultants
* Excellent organization, documentation, and communication skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
