AWS Data Engineer

Aspire It Solutions is in a need of -

Position: AWS Data Engineer
Location: Torrance, CA (Onsite - Locals Only)
Duration: 6+ months contract

Required Skills:

• Design the structure and layout of data systems including databases, warehouses, and data lakes.
• Translate high-level business requirements into data models, metadata, test data, and data quality standards.
• Define and manage standards, guidelines, and processes to ensure data quality.
• Collaborate with IT teams, business analysts, and data analytics teams to develop end-to-end data solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading data from multiple sources including databases and streaming platforms.
• Optimize pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability using techniques like parallel processing, caching, and error handling.
• Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and cross-team collaboration.

Qualification

• Strong experience with AWS services (S3, Redshift, Glue, EMR, Lambda, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with data modeling, ETL frameworks, and pipeline orchestration.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or Scala.
• Familiarity with streaming platforms such as Kafka or Kinesis is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
