Work Schedule: Hybrid - Onsite Monday to Wednesday (3 days/week)
Contract Duration: 12 months (with potential for extension or conversion)
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our Capital Markets Risk Technology team. This role is part of a strategic initiative to modernize risk applications in preparation for increased trading volume post-asset cap. You will contribute to both legacy system support and the development of a new Valuation Adjustment Target Operating Platform (XVA TOP), built on Java and Power BI.

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our Capital Markets Risk Technology team. This role is part of a strategic initiative to modernize risk applications in preparation for increased trading volume post-asset cap. You will contribute to both legacy system support and the development of a new Valuation Adjustment Target Operating Platform (XVA TOP), built on Java and Power BI.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated test cases using Python and modern automation tools.
- Convert manual test cases into automated scripts to improve test efficiency and coverage.
- Collaborate with a global team of 40 engineers (20 onshore, 20 offshore) in Agile sprints.
- Participate in daily scrums, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Support the transformation of reporting processes using Power BI.
- Ensure quality and scalability of risk applications in a high-volume trading environment.
- 4+ years of experience in QA testing, including 2+ years in test automation.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with automation frameworks.
- Strong understanding of over-the-counter (OTC) traded products and capital markets.
- Experience with SQL for data validation and test data management.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or similar.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, Agile development environment.
- Experience with Power BI for reporting and data visualization.
- Background in financial instruments including equities, fixed income, and derivatives.
- Exposure to large-scale system modernization or platform convergence projects.
- This is a net-new position as part of a pilot program.
- Prior Agile experience is not required.
