Job Summary:
The NetDocuments Administrator is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and support of the NetDocuments cloud-based document management system (DMS). This role ensures optimal system performance, user access control, integration with enterprise applications, and compliance with organizational policies and legal standards.
Key Responsibilities:
System Administration & Configuration
• Manage NetDocuments system settings, workspaces, cabinets, profiles, and templates.
• Configure security policies, user roles, and access permissions.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
User Support & Training
• Provide Tier 2/3 support to users across departments.
• Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for end-users and power users.
• Maintain documentation for system usage and best practices.
Integration & Automation
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate NetDocuments with other enterprise systems (e.g., Microsoft 365, Salesforce, SharePoint).
• Support API-based automation and workflows.
Compliance & Governance
• Ensure data retention, audit trails, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Manage document lifecycle policies and metadata standards.
Vendor & License Management
• Liaise with NetDocuments support and account teams.
• Track license usage and renewals.
• 3+ years of experience administering NetDocuments or similar DMS platforms.
• Strong understanding of document management principles, metadata, and security.
• Experience with SSO, Active Directory, and cloud-based integrations.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
• Familiarity with legal operations or law firm environments.
• Experience with NetDocuments ndOffice, ndSync, and ndMail.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
• Scripting or automation experience (e.g., PowerShell, REST APIs).
