Job Description:
Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Certification Engineer with extensive experience Minimum of 7 years in furniture test plans, test reports & certification with ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, focusing on enclosed compartments, finger pinch prevention, and design for security.
Dimension of Function:
The Lead Certification Engineer will responsible to manage the certification engineering team, ensuring compliance with Part 25 non-TSO regulations and mini-suite exemptions. They will develop and review furniture test plans and reports, addressing safety concerns related to enclosed compartments, finger pinch, and design for security. Additionally, they will provide technical guidance to junior engineers and liaise with regulatory authorities to ensure all projects meet regulatory standards.
Contacts:
Certification Lead be focal point of communication with Project lead ,customer and suppliers related to Certification & test compliance aspect.
Area of Responsibility:
- Lead and manage the certification engineering team.
- Develop and review furniture test plans and test reports.
- Ensure compliance with Part 25 non-TSO regulations and mini-suite exemptions.
- Oversee interior compliance requirements as per CS/FAR 25 for suite doors and EPF.
- Address safety concerns related to enclosed compartments, finger pinch, and design for security.
- Collaborate with Compliance & design teams to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Cordinate with the Compliance Engineers for the demonstration and verification of regulatory standard requirements..
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and certification bodies.
Knowledge / Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent in Mechanical/Aerospace/
Structural Engineering or AME. - Minimum of 7 years of experience in certification engineering, with a focus on furniture testing.
- In-depth knowledge of Part 25 non-TSO regulations and mini-suite exemptions.
- In-depth knowledge of CS/FAR 25.853 standards for test plan & test report requirements.
- Experience of Aerospace interior design & aircraft assembly line.
- Experience on Aerospace manufacturing processes and Industrial standard.
- Strong understanding of interior compliance requirements as per CS/FAR 25 for suite doors and EPF.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
