We Are Hiring IMS Administrator (Mainframe Expert)

Are you a Mainframe professional with a strong foundation in IMS DB administration and infrastructure management? We re looking for a highly experienced IMS Admin to join our team onsite in Hartford, CT for a long-term contract role.

Qualifications:
8+ years of IT experience in Mainframe Technologies
5+ years of direct experience with IMS software installation, configuration, and application region management
Preferred:
3+ years of experience with z/OS Connect (inbound and outbound API regions)
2+ years of experience with TPX, EOS, or CA GEN technologies

Key Responsibilities:
Install and maintain IMS software using SMP/E, manage PTFs, HOLDDATA, and software updates
Tune IMS parameters and internals to optimize system performance and troubleshoot incidents
Create and configure new IMS regions, address spaces, and transaction definitions
Follow strict change management processes and handle ServiceNow workflows
Collaborate with IBM and ISV vendors for timely issue resolution and product discussions
Integrate IMS with DB2, MQ, and other enterprise technologies
Provide support for high availability and disaster recovery testing
Assist with application development, security enhancement, and feature enablement
