RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in search of a talented Data Analyst in San Antonio, TX.

Description:
A Data Analyst job description typically involves collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to identify trends and patterns, ultimately leading to actionable insights that inform business decisions. Data analysts use various statistical and analytical techniques, as well as data visualization tools, to present their findings in a clear and concise manner. They work with diverse datasets, often from various sources, and are responsible for ensuring data quality and managing data systems.

Job Duties:
* Structure data for optimal access, performance and integration
* Take responsibility for building new data sets and data structures as required to support business needs
* Manage the distribution, replication, and archival of data throughout the enterprise
* Manage the balance of current and future needs in both design and content
* Offer expertise in Data Governance, Master Data Management (Reference Data Models) or related areas
* Under direct supervision of Senior Data Analysts, organizes and schedules meetings with key business stakeholders to understand underlying problem statement and synthesize corrective user action
* Provides deep-dive analysis into business problems and provide actionable insights for the respective teams
* Participates in presentation of reports to key internal or external stakeholders, communicating the key findings
* Builds ad-hoc and standard reports and dashboards to drive consistent data-driven insights
* Identifies problem statements and creates supplementing data to support problem root cause

REQUIREMENTS:
* Technical experience and knowledge in Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Quality
* Functional familiarity with one or more key master entity/domains such as Individuals, Organizations, Product, Locations, Assets, etc., and the challenges typically involved in implementing MDM for that entity/domain
* Experience with Data Architecture and Data Integration
* Experience with Data Quality tools to profile, cleanse, standardize and enrich data
* Familiarity with Data Stewardship activities
* Familiarity with Governance operating models
* Experience with Data Catalogue, Data Dictionary
* Proficient with productivity tools such as MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
* Understanding on any of the BI tools such as SAS, Tableau, Cognos, etc.
* Should have proven experience in database design, data-modelling, SQL server, etc.
* Has prior experience in building statistical models; Usually works with reactive statistical models i.e., develop insights based on historical data such as high performing products in the existing sales mix

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
