Position Description
CGI is looking for an experienced Full Stack Java Developer to join our team. As a Full Stack Java Developer, the candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of our web applications. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements and exceed user expectations.

The selected candidate must be in close proximity to the CGI office located in Pittsburgh, PA or Cleveland, OH - with Pittsburgh being the preferred location.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience (6+ years) in full-stack Java development, including front-end and back-end development.
Proficiency in Java programming language and related frameworks/libraries such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.
Experience with modern front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks/libraries (Angular, React, Vue.js).
Strong understanding of web development concepts, including RESTful APIs, MVC architecture, and asynchronous programming.
Experience with relational databases and proficiency in SQL.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Strong communication skills and ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
