Job Title: Document Management Specialist
Location: Onsite - Hill Air Force Base, Utah
Clearance: Active Secret Clearance Required
Role: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire (40 hours per week)
Compensation: Hourly equivalent of $80,000-$100,000 annual salary during the contract phase (negotiable and based on background/experience).

Position Overview
We are seeking a Document Management Specialist to support an IT initiative at Hill AFB. This role is an onsite opportunity supporting engineering documentation and IT asset lifecycle management. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational and compliance skills to manage documents, change control processes, and IT asset inventories in a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage engineering documentation, change control, and document library archives

  • Support regulatory submission documentation and customer-facing document requirements

  • Provide daily support to engineering, R&D, manufacturing, materials, and program management teams

  • Develop and maintain document control and IT asset management policies and procedures

  • Track IT assets from procurement to retirement, ensuring accuracy and license compliance

  • Maintain software license compliance and optimize usage and cost

  • Generate inventory and usage reports for IT assets and provide updates to management

  • Utilize discovery tools and manual processes for asset tracking

  • Oversee secure and environmentally responsible disposal of IT assets



Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 2-4 years of experience in document control or IT asset management

  • Active Secret Security Clearance

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Experience with document management systems and ITAM tools

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure, security, and financial principles (e.g., TCO, depreciation)
