Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused AV Support Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for the setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audio visual systems and equipment in support of meetings, events, and day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality AV experiences.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused AV Support Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for the setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audio visual systems and equipment in support of meetings, events, and day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality AV experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- AV Setup & Operation:
- Set up, operate, and break down AV equipment for meetings, presentations, and events, including projectors, microphones, speakers, video conferencing systems, and control interfaces (e.g., Crestron, Extron).
- Technical Support:
- Provide real-time technical support to end users during live events and meetings. Troubleshoot and resolve AV issues related to hardware, software, and connectivity in a timely and professional manner.
- System Maintenance & Documentation:
- Perform routine testing, maintenance, and updates on AV systems. Maintain accurate documentation of AV setups, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Collaboration & Training:
- Work closely with IT, facilities, and event teams to ensure seamless AV integration. Provide training and guidance to users on AV system usage and best practices.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in AV support or a related technical field
- Familiarity with AV control systems (e.g., Crestron, Extron), video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams), and digital signage
- Strong understanding of signal flow, audio/video formats, and networking basics
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
- AV certifications (e.g., Dante, Q-SYS, CTS) are a plus
