Job Summary:

We are seeking a visionary and technically adept leader to spearhead our MLOps and AI Platform strategy. As the Head of MLOps and AI Platforms, you will be the central force behind the architecture, scaling, and governance of our core AI infrastructure. Your mission will be to empower our data science and engineering teams by providing a world-class, automated, and governed environment for building and deploying AI solutions.

You will have principal ownership of our key strategic platforms IBM watsonx and Google Cloud Vertex AI and provide strategic oversight for our Azure AI environment. This high-visibility role requires a leader who can blend deep technical expertise with strategic thinking, fostering a culture of innovation, standardization, and operational excellence. You will lead a dedicated team that serves as the backbone for all AI model and application delivery across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Platform Strategy & Ownership: Architect and own the end-to-end lifecycle of our multi-cloud AI platforms (IBM watsonx, Google Vertex AI, Azure), driving the roadmap for future capabilities and enterprise-wide adoption.
  • Automation & MLOps Excellence: Champion and implement robust automation across the entire AI lifecycle. Design, build, and maintain sophisticated CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) pipelines for data processing, model training, and application deployment.
  • Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing AI platform engineering team, fostering technical excellence and a collaborative, results-oriented culture.
  • Solution Acceleration: Develop and enforce best practices by creating standardized templates and blueprints for MLOps and application automation, dramatically accelerating time-to-value for our data science and product teams.
  • Advanced AI Systems: Pioneer the development and operationalization of advanced Agentic AI pipelines, pushing the boundaries of automated intelligent systems.
  • AI Governance & Compliance: Establish and manage a comprehensive AI governance framework. Serve as the subject matter expert for tools like IBM watsonx.governance and Vertex AI Model Governance to ensure our AI solutions are fair, transparent, and compliant.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as a key technical liaison, bridging the gap between data science, engineering, and business stakeholders to ensure platform solutions align with strategic goals.
