Job Description:

We are seeking a Healthcare Expert with extensive experience in outcome-based agreements to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for strategizing and advising on outcome-based agreements for gene therapy across multiple International markets. This role requires a deep understanding of gene therapy, healthcare, and outcome-based agreements, as well as excellent communication and project management skills.

Remote role, may require International travel

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice to clients on the development and commercialization of gene therapy products
  • Work with clients to develop and implement strategies for the negotiation and execution of outcomes-based agreements (OBAs)
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential opportunities for gene therapy products in the healthcare industry
  • Develop and deliver presentations to clients and other stakeholders to communicate key findings and recommendations
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in gene therapy and outcomes-based agreements, and provide thought leadership to clients
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders, asserting opinions and guiding decisions when required

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in life sciences, healthcare, business, or law
  • Experience in pharmaceuticals (required) with specific focus in specialty pharma or cell & gene therapy in aspects related to commercialization, medical and/or regulatory affairs
  • Experience developing and/or implementing outcomes-based agreements (OBAs) in the healthcare industry
  • Experience with medical claims or other real-world outcomes data
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong communication, presentation, and workshop facilitation skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Commercial, Medical Affairs, and local market teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of outcome-based agreements

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of gene therapy, healthcare economics, and outcome-based agreements
  • Knowledge of financial accounting: sales-to-cash, invoicing, and revenue accruals
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Excellent independent project management
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and inform strategic decisions
  • Preferred: Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare Economics, or related field (Ph.D., M.D., or M.Sc.)
  • Preferred: Experience with large ERP or CRM digital platforms
  • Project management and collaboration tools: Smartsheets, Slack, Sharepoint
  • Presentation tools: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Teams
