Job Responsibilities/Required Skills:

  • Responsible for developing data warehousing blueprints, evaluating hardware and software platforms and integrating systems.
  • Evaluates reusability of current data for additional analyses.
  • Works in a data warehouse environment that includes data design, database architecture, metadata and repository creation.
  • Designs and builds relational databases, performs data access analysis design and archive/recovery design and implementation.
  • Reviews and develops object and data models and the metadata repository to structure the data for better management and quicker access.
  • Requires knowledge of cybersecurity, privacy principles, computer networking concepts, protocols, network security methodologies and risk management framework.
  • Skill in maintaining databases (backup, restore, delete data, transaction log files) and optimizing database performance.
  • Knowledgeable database management systems, query languages, table relationships, view, data mining and data warehousing principles.
  • Requires skills and knowledge of physical and virtual data storage media.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with others.
  • MS/MA in Computer Science with concentration in overall data management, programming, technology architecture and 10 years experience or BA/BS in Computer Science with concentration in data management, programming, technology architecture and 12 years experience. Closed completed T5 (SSBI, SBPR, PPR) investigation with eligibility to Top Secret. Must have a total of 4 Microsoft Certifications consisting of a combination of the following:
  • Must have two (2) of the following Microsoft Certifications:
  • Azure Database Administrator Associate Data Science Council of America Senior Data Scientist (SDS) OR at least one (1) role-based Microsoft Certifications:
  • Identity and Access Administrator Associate
  • Azure Security Engineer Associate Azure Network Engineer Associate Azure Security Engineer Associate Cybersecurity Architect Expert Security Operations Analyst Associate Cybersecurity Architect
  • Azure Network Engineer Associate Azure Data Fundamentals
  • Power BI Data Analyst Associate Power Platform Fundamentals Azure Data Scientist Associate Azure Data Engineer Associate Azure AI Engineer Associate
