Description

We are looking for a skilled PC Technician to join our team in East Lansing, Michigan. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting computer hardware, software, and networking systems to ensure smooth operations. If you have a strong technical background and a passion for problem-solving, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Mac computers, Apple devices, and Linux-based systems.
Perform routine backups and ensure data integrity across multiple platforms.
Set up and manage cable installations, including switches, Cisco routers, and fiber optic networks.
Assemble and test cable assemblies to support network connectivity.
Provide technical support for end-users, addressing hardware and software concerns.
Collaborate with team members to implement system upgrades and optimize performance.
Document technical processes and maintain accurate records of repairs and installations.
Conduct regular system checks to ensure compliance with organizational standards and security protocols.
Assist with the deployment of new technologies and equipment as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience with computer hardware maintenance and troubleshooting.
Proficiency in working with Mac computers, Apple devices, and Linux technologies.
Familiarity with backup systems and data recovery processes.
Knowledge of cable installation, including switches, routers, and fiber optics.
Experience with Cisco routers and network configuration.
Ability to assemble and test cable assemblies for connectivity.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
