Job Details

Need Local to Texas for F2F Interview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient Node.js
  • Implement caching strategies using Redis to improve application performance.
  • Integrate Apache Kafka for event-driven and asynchronous communication between services.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps, QA, and other stakeholders.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices (unit tests, CI/CD, etc.).
  • Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional experience with Node.js in a production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), asynchronous programming, and RESTful APIs.
  • Proven experience in Microservices architecture and distributed systems.
  • Experience with Redis for caching and session management.
  • Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Apache Kafka (producer/consumer models, topic configuration, message queues).
  • Familiarity with Docker, containerization, and deploying microservices in Kubernetes or similar environments.
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD tools, and automated testing frameworks (e.g., Mocha, Jest).
  • Understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL MongoDB, PostgreSQL, etc.).
