Salesforce Project Manager

Overview:
Our client is seeking a highly capable Project Manager / Scrum Master to lead a Salesforce development squad during a critical product launch and beyond. This individual will help stabilize agile delivery, bring structure and planning rigor, and operate with autonomy. The ideal candidate blends agile expertise with enterprise project management skills and thrives in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment.

This position supports a highly customized Salesforce environment integrated with hundreds of data systems and works closely with internal technical stakeholders and external vendors.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the dedicated Scrum Master / Project Manager for a cross-functional Salesforce squad (Lead Engineer, Developers, QA, Analyst)
  
• Drive agile ceremonies, ensure milestone accountability, and establish process discipline
  
• Partner with product owners, internal engineers, and external vendors to resolve blockers and manage scope
  
• Provide project management oversight including demand planning, risk mitigation, and sprint execution
  
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other PMs, analysts, and engineering teams to ensure smooth delivery and handoffs
  
• Identify delivery gaps, process improvements, and staffing needs and escalate recommendations
  
• Own reporting, team coordination, backlog hygiene, and sprint communication
  
• Maintain awareness of platform-wide dependencies and workstream impacts
  
• Influence delivery strategy and bring process leadership to the team
  

Required Skills:

• 5-10+ years of Project Management experience within large, complex organizations
  
• Proven Scrum Master experience with agile delivery ownership at the team level
  
• Experience managing Salesforce development projects
  
• Strong communication and organizational skills; capable of driving delivery, not just facilitating
  
• Experience working with onshore/offshore teams and third-party vendors
  
• Ability to lead without direct authority and influence stakeholders across teams
  
• Comfortable managing both day-to-day team operations and broader project visibility
  

Preferred Skills:

• Salesforce CRM experience in highly integrated environments
  
• Background in agile transformations or hybrid delivery models
  
• Exposure to QA planning and automated testing strategies
  
• Experience in financial services or enterprise tech environments
  
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or similar tools
  

Work Environment:

• Two agile squads consisting of engineers, QA, and analysts
  
• Coordination with external vendors on delivery and blockers
  
• Most team members are remote or global; hybrid work with occasional onsite meetings (approx. 3x per month)
