Basic Qualifications
Education Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.
Clearance Requirements:
Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

- Develop and maintain embedded software applications using C/C++ programming language
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software and hardware components
- Perform and lead debugging, testing, and optimization of embedded systems
- Participate and lead code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of software development practices
- Document software design, code, and unit tests
- Embedded real-time operating systems
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company processes
What Sets You Apart
- Exceptional experience with C and/or C++
- Proven experience with driver development
- Experience with unit test frameworks
- Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C)
- Linux Embedded experience
- Ability to lead the software development process
- Expertise in applying technical standards and methodologies to solve challenges in creative ways
- Collaborative team player eager to provide technical leadership and positioning others for success
- Thorough knowledge of technology trends and willingness to champion new ideas and process improvements
Additional Skills You May Have, Or Skills You Are Willing To Learn
- Signal processing and digital signal processing (DSP)
- Programming languages such as Rust, Python, MATLAB
- Advanced Linux operating systems knowledge (Drivers, networking, system services, etc.)
- Multi-threaded and multi-core programming
- Network protocols and socket programming
- Cryptographic techniques and secure boot
- Power management in embedded systems
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Automated testing and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) git pipelines
