We are seeking a contractual experienced Full Stack Java Developer with emphasis on Back End dynamic web development, with a possibility of native iOS web app development.This position will be primarily responsible for performing the complete SDLC for advanced innovative, scalable, java web applications. This includes analysis, requirements, full system architecture design, developing, testing, debugging through implementation and ongoing enhancements and support.It is preferred that the individual have native iOS app development using Swift 5+.Once the individual is selected, they have had onboarding, and have proven independence, this position could be hybrid (onsite required 2-3 days per week). It is anticipated that this position would be a longer-term assignment with a 37.5-hour work week.Project oversight including requirements analysis, document and translate business requirements into technical specifications, and process through to implementation, maintenance and support. Primary Responsibilities:Performing the complete SDLC for advanced innovative, scalable, web applications. This includes analysis, requirements, full system architecture design, developing, testing, debugging through implementation and ongoing enhancements and support.Effectively Design, Develop, configure, maintain, and implement high performance, reusable, and reliable bug free code quickly and efficiently to meet business requirements while complying with state standards and best practices.Learn and understand the business processes associated with supported applications.Effectively collaborate and communicate with clients/internal stake holders at all levels to understand the business requirements and system capabilities.Develop the blueprint and execution of requirements for continuous improvements of business, system, and user experience of DelDOT Web applications.Research, assess and provide accurate level of effort needed to address requirements, support, and enhancement tasks.Implementing Accessibility Standards in web applications.Documentation of system and business requirements as well as Technical and user documentation.Ensure successful implementation of new functionality, change requests, version updates, data migration, and data integrity.Developing test use cases, create automated test scripts, and conduct full system testing to ensure system and data interfaces are functioning as expected.Identify and correct bugs and provide continuous improvement on application performance, responsiveness, functionality, and exceptional user experience. Perform code reviews, suggest, and implement improvements for efficiency. Provide user and system support, troubleshooting and resolution of user and system issues.Managing and maintaining source code repositories, builds, and deploys in GitHub.Prepare and provide detailed weekly status and risk reports to manager.Independently research/investigate issues, come up with resolution and see it through.
