Systems Security Administrator

Description

Robert Half Technology is seeking a Senior Information Security Analyst for a fast-growing technology-driven organization in Orange County, CA. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with the Director of Cloud Operations to design and scale a comprehensive security program from the ground up. If you're passionate about cloud security, compliance frameworks, and building security operations that protect global business operations, this is the role for you.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement information security strategies across on-premise and cloud environments.
• Build, update, and enforce policies aligned with NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC2, SEC 11147, and GDPR.
• Lead vulnerability management, incident response, red/blue team exercises, and audits.
• Oversee identity access management, permissions, and access controls.
• Monitor, detect, and respond to threats using SIEM and compliance tools (Splunk, QRadar, Rapid7, OneTrust, Drata).
• Drive risk assessments and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Document cybersecurity controls, KPIs, detection rules, and playbooks.
• Deliver security awareness training and mentor colleagues across the company.
• Collaborate with international teams, including China-based security partners.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8+ years of information security experience, with strong expertise in incident response, risk assessments, and vulnerability management.
• Hands-on experience in public cloud security (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and IAM.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS).
• Familiarity with IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and firewalls.
• SIEM tool expertise (Splunk, QRadar, Rapid7, Wazuh).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and threat mitigation skills.
• Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, ect.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary:$125K - $150K
