Backlog Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced Backlog Project Manager in support of our enterprise telecommunications and mass media client based in Maryland Heights, MO.

Summary:
Responsibilities for this role will include managing scope and schedule in coordination with IT delivery teams, full budget and fiscal responsibility, project and executive status and reporting, maintaining high quality and timely delivery of projects. Candidate must be a self-starter and who can think like an owner and has the ability to learn and understand what makes the business customer tick so that they can anticipate needs and issues.

Daily Responsibilities/Scope of Role and Project:
* Manage and control aspects of project delivery (triple constraint)

REQUIREMENTS:
* PMP certification or Six Sigma Green Belt; or higher required; Practical project management experience with full responsibility for project delivery and management
* Technologies Required: None required; Experience with SDLC (Waterfall and/or AGILE), Network/Servers, Support and application maintenance a plus
* Organization and communication; Relationship building and critical analysis
* Ownership and Commitment: Consistently meets deadlines while balancing multiple priorities
* Demonstrates a strong passion for success and takes responsibility for project outcomes
* Acts as an internal advocate for projects, maintaining composure under pressure

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
