As a Sr. Electrical/Mechanical Engineer, you will help support the Westinghouse Parts Business in New Stanton, PA. Specifically, you will be responsible for electric motor design, analysis, and testing. You will report to the Manager of Procurement Engineering. This role is eligible for a mobile working arrangement and will be on site in New Stanton 2-3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review & develop solutions for Customer Request for Quotes (RFQ) for power plant motor applications
  • Work with external customers and Inside/Outside Sales to provide/present solutions to their needs.
  • Maintain Motor Drawings and Documentation
  • Use electric motor design software packages to do up front design work and motor specification. (Ex: Ansys Maxwell, Motor Solve, MotorXP, Matlab)
  • Proficiency in electric motor design, analysis, and testing
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to electric motors
  • Work with manufacturing team to ensure product material/part compliance, quality and delivery.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Technology, Electrical Engineering/technology, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in engineering fields. (preferably motor design/manufacture)
  • 4+ years of experience with electric motors (motor design, manufacture, refurbishment, etc)
  • Nuclear power industry knowledge
