Description and Requirements
Duties: Provide technical expertise for product teams that build foundational solutions using Azure Cloud platform. Collaborate with the product line architect to review solution design and roadmap. Enable product delivery through hands-on development and in collaboration with developers, analysts and business to build fully vetted products that ensure new capabilities are implemented according to enterprise standards enabling enterprise caliber cloud data platforms. Serve as a senior resource to streamline the implementation and delivery of data platform and microservice components built and managed by the Cloud Data Integration Team for the Investments Data Lake. Assist in the design and development of a cloud native development and delivery value stream.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (will accept foreign education equivalent) and five (5) years of experience creating and supporting cloud-native solutions using Microsoft Azure PaaS services, including Azure SQL, Azure App Services, Key Vault, Data Factory, ADLS Storage, and Active Directory. Position requires experience in the following: 5 years of experience developing Databricks notebooks using Python. 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, specializing in creating data models, analyzing complex datasets, implementing standard database design principles, ETL processing using SSIS, reporting with Power BI, writing complex queries, optimizing database performance and query tuning, and managing large, complex datasets and data schemas. Experience developing solutions using RESTful APIs and applying object-oriented principles. Experience managing application security, handling PII data, and ensuring compliance with SOX and legal requirements. Experience using Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for test automation, continuous integration, and deployment. Experience code versioning with Git and Agile software development methodologies.
Work Arrangement: Hybrid - 3 days in office/2 days remote

The wage range for applicants for this position is $139,300.00 to $146,500.00 per year This role is also eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation.
