Description & Requirements

We are seeking Senior Business Analysts to join our team supporting an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) client.

* Position is contingent on contract award

Location of work is primarily remote in US. Candidates must be near IRS Federal Buildings in Farmers Branch, TX, Washington DC or Lanham, MD to attend meetings when needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary point of contact with project staff and/or clients to define the business and technical requirements.
- Act as primary liaison between project business staff and technical staff.
- May lead area of requirements development including work plan development and task, timeline and resource management.
- Evaluate and recommend enhancements to application efficiency and reliability.
- Test application processes and participates in design and code walkthroughs.

- Formulates and defines system scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of robotics business systems and industry requirements.

- Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operation time, and form of desired results. Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirements specifications.

- Collaborate with Process Architects and Product owners to perform feasibility analysis, architect standard solutions, designs, and implements new and enhanced capabilities.

- Provide oversight, recommendation, and mentoring to business analysts including quality reviews.

- Address problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms. They will support the adaptation of functional business requirements and processes to enterprise technical solutions, leveraging Robotics Process Automation (RPA) software.

- Support all phases of testing, including functional testing, integration testing, Section 508, and User Acceptance Testing.

- Support the creation and modification of any training materials and any requests that require virtual or classroom training.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- 7-10 years of related professional experience.

- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree.

- At least five (5) years relevant experience with robotic process automation tools

- Must have active UiPath Certified Professional Automation Business Analyst Professional OR Automation Developer Associate credential

- Experience in soliciting and documenting requirements, technical writing, and document preparation, and creating and utilizing test cases.

- Demonstrated success in client support.

- Experience working under Agile software development methodologies.

- Self-starter that does not require extensive guidance.

- Proactive communication skills with multi-site located team.

- Understanding of business modeling and technical requirements identification processes.

- Demonstrated problem-solving and structured analysis skills.

- Proficient in presentation and facilitation skills.

- Experience in conducting systems analysis using design methodologies.

- Demonstrated ability to create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to system programmers.

- Ability to communicate process changes, enhancements, and modifications - verbally or through written documentation - to management, peers, staff, and other employees so that issues and solutions are understood.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

- Preferred experience: Experience with IRS systems and Data; experience with IBM Rational ELM; experience supporting federal government agency clients.

Additional requirements as per Contract/Client:

- Candidates must meet requirements to obtain and maintain an IRS Minimum Background Investigation (MBI).

Pay Transparency

Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
