Job Title: SAP S/4HANA ABAP Developer Data Migration

Duration: 1+ Year (Contract)

Location: Remote

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA ABAP Developer with a strong focus on Data Migration for a long-term public sector engagement. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP ABAP, S/4HANA, and data migration strategies, and will work closely with functional consultants and other technical teams to design, develop, and deliver scalable migration solutions in alignment with SAP best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop custom ABAP programsfor data migration from legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA.
  • Collaborate with functional and business teams to translate requirements into technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain ODATA servicesusing RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model).
  • Utilize SAP Fiori/UI5and SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) to enhance data migration interfaces and tools.
  • Work with SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit, LTMC, and related tools for executing and validating data loads.
  • Ensure data integrity, quality, and performance throughout the migration process.
  • Provide documentation, support, and knowledge transfer to internal teams.
  • Ensure compliance with public sector security and quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development
  • Minimum 4+ years of SAP S/4HANAexperience with a strong focus on data migration.
  • Expertise in developing custom ABAP migration tools, enhancements, reports, and interfaces.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5, SAP BAS, and SAP BTP.
  • Experience in creating ODATA servicesusing RAP (ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model).
  • Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA Data Migrationtools and techniques (including LTMC, LTMOM, Migration Cockpit).
  • Familiarity with SAP modulessuch as FICO, MM/IM, BRIM.
  • Strong communication and documentation skillsto support remote work and collaboration with onsite teams.
  • Experience in public sector or government projects is a plus.

Preferred Certifications:

  • SAP Certified Development Associate ABAP with SAP NetWeaver or S/4HANA
  • SAP BRIM Certification
  • Any relevant SAP technical or functional certifications will be an added advantage.
