We are seeking a skilled SQL System Engineer with at least 2 years of experience, who is also proficient in one or more programming languages, such as Python or an object-oriented language. The ideal candidate will haveLinux and Windows administration experience and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Familiarity with Collibra, Slicer Dicer, Talend server side, HVR, and Caboodle is a bonus.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain SQL-based applications and database systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues
- Design, implement, and maintain ETL workflows and data pipelines
- Work collaboratively with team members to develop efficient and effective database solutions
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux and Windows-based systems
- Maintain security and backup procedures for database systems
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience with SQL and database systems
- Some experience with servers like updates, support, upgrades, patching, etc.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages, preferably Python or an object-oriented language
- Experience in System Administration experience -Performance tuning/monitoring, ETL script performance monitoring, VMware server updates, etc
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
