# Senior Construction Project Manager
POSITION SUMMARY:
Oversee all phases of construction project execution from kickoff to closeout, ensuring adherence to safety, financial, scheduling, document management, subcontractor coordination, and client communication.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Maintain a strong leadership presence at project sites, either directly or via designated personnel.
- Provide overall leadership and administrative support for assigned construction projects, including potential work with varied clients, regions, and government contracts.
- Facilitate development, implementation, and circulation of project communications across all stakeholders client, design team, internal staff, and vendors.
- Act as the primary contact for client and architectural/engineering teams.
- Manage contracts between clients, subcontractors, and consultants.
- Contribute to estimating, including project pricing and change orders.
- Assist in scoping and procurement processes during preconstruction.
- Supervise documentation workflows (contracts, RFIs, submittals, etc.) with junior team members.
- Create and update baseline project schedules and monitor progress against timelines.
- Evaluate subcontractor schedules and create mitigation plans when delays arise.
- Lead jobsite planning, including logistics and phasing.
- Monitor and control project financials:
- - Track and report on budget, forecasting, and cost performance.
- - Collaborate with accounting and superintendents to manage general conditions and financial reporting.
- - Administer field orders, contract amendments, and owner-directed changes.
- - Provide accurate invoicing, change tracking, and certified payroll compliance.
- Oversee submittal tracking, procurement coordination, and approval processes.
- Implement job-specific safety programs.
- Resolve project-related conflicts efficiently.
- Maintain and distribute meeting notes, including client progress updates and internal coordination reviews.
- Support project closeout and commissioning.
- Assist in regional business development initiatives.
REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lead teams effectively and independently.
- Proficiency in construction management principles, scheduling, budgeting, and documentation.
- Strong client and subcontractor relationship management.
- Familiarity with construction technology and applicable regulations.
- Competence in safety standards, labor compliance, and basic accounting.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Project Management tools (e.g., Procore), and related software.
- Working knowledge of contractual structures and obligations.
- Experience with hospital and/or educational facility construction is strongly preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent experience.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in construction leadership roles. Certifications in CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30 preferred.
