Position details: Position- Senior Oracle Payroll Technical Consultant

Location- 100% Remote role

Contract- 06+ months contract with higher extension possibilities

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Oracle Payroll Technical Consultant with a strong background in Oracle Cloud HCM, Payroll Operations, and system configuration. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical expert who understands both the technical and functional aspects of Oracle Payroll, Labor, and Absence Management modules. The ideal candidate will play a key role in implementing, optimizing, and supporting Oracle Cloud Payroll solutions to streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical configuration, design, and implementation of Oracle Cloud Payroll, Labor, and Absence Management modules.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions and system configurations.
  • Manage end-to-end Oracle Cloud implementation activities, including integrations, data conversions, and testing.
  • Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting, performance optimization, and issue resolution across Payroll and related modules.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll regulations, system security, and data integrity standards.
  • Support payroll operations teams by optimizing processes and automating workflows.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and IT to align payroll systems with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, configuration guides, and process workflows.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree or higher in Information Systems, Computer Science, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 10 15 years of experience in Oracle Payroll Operations, with a strong technical and functional understanding of Oracle HCM.
  • Proven experience in Oracle Cloud HCM implementations, particularly in Payroll, Labor, and Absence Management modules.
  • Deep understanding of Oracle technical tools, including HCM Extracts, Fast Formulas, BI Publisher, HDL, and Integrations (REST/SOAP APIs).
  • Hands-on experience with system configuration, testing, and post-production support.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
