We are seeking a highly skilled BigQuery Data Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our cloud data platform. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), particularly BigQuery, and possess strong data modeling, ETL/ELT pipeline, and cloud architecture expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
Design scalable and secure cloud-based data architectures using BigQuery and other Google Cloud Platform services.

Develop and maintain data models, data marts, and data lakes to support business intelligence and analytics.

Lead the migration of on-premise or other cloud-based data platforms to Google BigQuery.

Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to define requirements and implement data solutions.

Create and optimize ELT/ETL processes using tools such as Dataflow, Apache Beam, Cloud Composer, or dbt.

Define and enforce best practices around data governance, data quality, security, and performance.

Automate and monitor workflows and implement CI/CD pipelines for data projects.

Conduct performance tuning and query optimization for complex BigQuery datasets.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

15+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or similar roles.

5+ years of hands-on experience with Google BigQuery and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).

Strong proficiency in SQL, data warehousing, and dimensional/star schema modeling.

Proficient in ETL tools and frameworks: Apache Beam, Cloud Dataflow, Data Fusion, Airflow/Composer, dbt.

Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Shell.

Experience with CI/CD, DevOps for data pipelines, and version control tools (e.g., Git).
