Job Title : Mid-Level Business Central Developer

Employment Type : Contract

Contract : Open

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Central Developer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have 5 10 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (formerly NAV) and be an expert in Lanham EDI solutions. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining Business Central customizations and integrations, with a strong emphasis on EDI workflows and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, customize, and maintain solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Implement and support Lanham EDI modules, including setup, mapping, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Create and maintain documentation for customizations, integrations, and processes.
  • Perform system upgrades, data migrations, and performance tuning.
  • Provide support and training to end-users and internal teams.
  • Work closely with other developers, analysts, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
  • Ensure compliance with best practices and coding standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 10 years of experience in Business Central / Dynamics NAV development.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Lanham EDI, including trading partner setup, document mapping, and automation.
  • Strong knowledge of AL, C/AL, Devops, and Visual Studio Code.
  • Experience with APIs, web services, and third-party integrations.
  • Solid understanding of ERP workflows, especially in finance, distribution, or warehouse environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft certifications in Business Central or Dynamics NAV.
  • Experience with Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate).
  • Familiarity with SQL Server and database management.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
