Business Analyst SAP S/4HANA Implementation (Financial Modules)

Focus: SAP S/4HANA Financial modules within a large implementation project involving 5 workstreams:

• Source-to-Pay (S2P)
• Order-to-Cash (O2C)
• Hire-to-Retire (H2R)
• Budget-to-Report (B2R)
• Acquire-to-Retire (A2R)

Currently, they need 3 BAs for S2P, O2C, and A2R.

Core Responsibilities

1. Requirements Gathering
• Conduct workshops, interviews, and create process maps.
• Document functional/non-functional requirements, use cases, user stories.
• Maintain traceability matrix.
2. Testing & Validation
• Define test scenarios/scripts, manage UAT, regression testing.
• Validate data migration and integrations.
• Track and report testing progress/issues.
3. Stakeholder Management
• Liaison between business, SAP team, vendors.
• Communicate status, risks, and lead meetings.
• Present to C-suite when needed.
4. Documentation
• Maintain PMO artifacts, test results, process flows.

Required Skills

• SAP S/4HANA Financial Modules experience (Finance, MM, SD).
• Strong requirements gathering and process mapping.
• Hands-on testing experience (UAT, test scripts, defect tracking).
• Familiarity with Activate methodology.
• Stakeholder management and presentation skills.
• Agile/project management tools experience (nice to have).
• SAP certification (plus).

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication (including C-suite).
• Analytical and problem-solving.
• Ability to adapt quickly and lead workshops.

Technical Skills

• SAP Financial modules (FI, MM, SD).
• Data migration and integrity checks.
• Advanced Excel for reporting (dashboards, pivots).
• Knowledge of integrations and traceability.
