Job Details

We are seeking a Senior SAFe Scrum Master/Team Coach to serve as a servant leader and coach for an Agile team. In this role, you'll guide and support the team and the broader Agile Release Train (ART) in delivering value. You will be responsible for maturing the Agile team through the principles of SAFe, fostering a high-performing environment, and facilitating the removal of impediments. As a coach, you'll help teams embrace a continuous learning mindset, improve their agile practices, and ensure transparent communication. This position is vital for supporting the overall adoption of SAFe across the enterprise and building a culture of trust and collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Coach and guide teams toward higher maturity and self-organization.

  • Apply expert knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts, including user story refinement, backlog refinement, and PI Planning.

  • Support team members in resolving conflicts, problem-solving, and decision-making.

  • Facilitate all Iteration events, including planning, syncs, reviews, and retrospectives.

  • Work within the ART cadence to ensure alignment, manage dependencies, and support continuous learning cycles.

  • Collaborate with the Product Owner to maximize the value of the solution.

  • Establish and manage the team's Kanban board to visualize and improve work flow.

  • Measure and optimize flow, competency, and outcomes (OKR) metrics to assess and improve performance.

  • Coach Built-in Quality practices and foster high-performing team dynamics.

  • Participate in Communities of Practice (CoPs) and support SAFe Practice Consultants (SPCs).

  • Facilitate cross-team collaboration to deliver whole product solutions.

  • Ensure the team uses the IP Iteration for innovation, continuing education, and PI Planning preparation.

Qualifications

  • SAFe 6.0 Scrum Master Certification is 100% required to apply for this role.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master/Team Coach in a large enterprise.

  • Bachelor s degree or an equivalent combination of related work experience and education.

  • Expertise in Jira Software, Confluence, FigJam, and Jira Align.

  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.

  • Preferred: SAFe SASM 6.0, SAFe SPC 6.0, SAFe SA 6.0, SAFe RTE 6.0, CSM, SAFe Studio Experience, or ICAgile certifications.
