Job Title: Enterprise Architect Cloud Platforms & AI/ML
Location: Austin, TX (Local Candidates Only Hybrid: Onsite Mon/Tue/Fri)

Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Enterprise Architect Cloud Platforms & AI/ML to join the State of Texas . This is a long-term contract role requiring a hybrid work arrangement (3 days onsite in Austin, TX). The ideal candidate will bring at least 17+ years of enterprise IT experience, deep knowledge in cloud-native architectures, and hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Must-Have Certifications:
AWS Certified Solutions Architect
Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Google Professional Cloud Architect
Responsibilities:
Translate business requirements into scalable and secure enterprise architecture solutions.
Lead the development and maintenance of cloud infrastructure, ensuring compliance and resiliency.
Design detailed cloud migration strategies and oversee implementation.
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in cloud and AI/ML initiatives.
Construct Statements of Work (SOW), risk assessments, and financial models.
Ensure alignment with regulatory frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
Provide architectural guidance across various AI/ML use cases, including Generative AI, NLP, and computer vision.
Collaborate with executive stakeholders to shape cloud and AI strategy.
Required Skills & Experience:
17+ years of IT experience with proven architectural leadership in large-scale enterprise systems.
Strong hands-on expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform cloud platforms.
Experience with IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and cloud-native development.
End-to-end experience in AI/ML solution design, including services such as AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, Google Cloud Platform Vertex AI.
Proficiency in virtual networking, load balancing, firewalls, DNS, VPNs.
Solid knowledge of IAM, cloud security, encryption standards, and compliance.
Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, Terraform, CloudFormation.
Understanding of API architecture (REST/SOAP), microservices, serverless applications.
Strong communication and leadership skills to interface with both technical teams and business leaders.
Work Arrangement:
Hybrid Onsite Monday, Tuesday, and Friday at Austin, TX
Remote Work on Wednesday and Thursday
