DevOps Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Palm Beach Gardens, FL that is looking for a talented DevOps Engineer to join their development team.

Summary:
The ideal candidate for this position is passionate about delivering resilient and expandable web services for an enterprise-class platform. In this capacity, you will be working with engineers, developers, and product management to launch new applications, iterate on existing features and be integral to developing our flagship product and be part of an agile team that functions as a 'startup'.

Responsibilities:
* DevOps Engineer will write automation code for provisioning and operating infrastructure at massive scale in cloud and data center infrastructures and build and maintain continuous deployment processes
* Write automation and integration of complex processes in and between our datacenter and cloud infrastructures
* Responsible for the design and development of the test automation to validate the builds in the CI/CD pipeline
* Engineer solutions using AWS services (Cloud Formation, EC2, Lambda, Route 53, ECS, EFS)
* Balance hardware, network, and software layers to arrive at a scalable and maintainable solution that meets requirements for uptime, performance, and functionality
* Monitor server applications and use tools and log files to troubleshoot and resolve problems
* Maintain 99.99% availability of the web and integration services
* Anticipate, identify, mitigate, and resolve issues relating to client facing infrastructure
* Monitor, analyze, and predict trends for system performance, capacity, efficiency, and reliability and recommend enhancements to better meet client SLAs and standards
* Research and recommend innovative and automated approaches for system administration and DevOps tasks
* Deploy and decommission client environments for multi and single tenant hosted applications following and updating as needed established processes and procedures

REQUIREMENTS:
* Must have experience with AWS VPC networking and security
* Git/GitHub version control tools
* Linux and/or Windows Virtualization (VMWare, Xen, KVM, Virtual Box)
* Cloud computing (AWS, Google App Engine, Rackspace Cloud)
* Application Servers, servlet containers and web servers (WebSphere, Tomcat)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
