Job Title: TOSCA Automation Engineer
Location: Remote Needs to travel to CT upon request
Duration :Long Term Contract
Job Summary:
- The Tosca Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using the Tricentis Tosca platform. This role ensures software quality through robust automation strategies and close collaboration with development and QA teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement automated test cases using Tosca TestSuite.
- Maintain and execute automated test suites for functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, and business stakeholders to understand testing requirements.
- Lead the implementation of Tosca automation frameworks across multiple projects.
- Integrate Tosca with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and Git.
- Identify and document defects, and work with developers to resolve issues.
- Monitor and report on test execution and results.
- Continuously improve test coverage, automation processes, and testing methodologies.
- Mentor junior QA engineers on Tosca best practices.
- Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3 5+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 3 years in Tosca automation.
- Strong understanding of Tosca Modules, Test Cases, ExecutionLists, and Test Data Management.
- Experience with Tosca integrations (e.g., Jira, qTest, Jenkins).
- Solid grasp of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Tricentis Tosca certifications (Automation Specialist 1 & 2, Test Design Specialist).
- Experience with API, database, or performance testing.
- Exposure to enterprise applications like SAP, Salesforce, or mainframe systems.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (VBScript, JavaScript) is a plus.
