Description

We are looking for a skilled Database Analyst to join our team in Blue Ash, Ohio. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in SQL and Linux, with the ability to work in a hybrid environment, including occasional on-call responsibilities. This role offers opportunities to contribute to diverse projects, enhance technical skills, and collaborate with team members to deliver impactful results.

Responsibilities:
Analyze business processes and technical requirements to support project objectives.
Prepare deliverables independently or as part of a team, ensuring quality and timeliness.
Monitor, respond to, and investigate security, network, and application events across systems.
Conduct testing of controls using established frameworks such as Sarbanes-Oxley.
Assist in data acquisition, interpretation, and review for unusual or suspicious activities.
Evaluate system configurations, security settings, and user roles to ensure compliance.
Support accounting tasks, including preparing financial records and reviewing transactions for accuracy.
Develop and present detailed project reports, summarizing findings and providing actionable insights.
Collaborate on innovation initiatives to improve service delivery through automation and standardization.
Communicate project work status effectively to senior analysts and team members.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in a relevant field.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL and SQL Server.
Solid understanding of Linux operating systems.
Ability to work in a hybrid environment, including occasional on-call Saturdays.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Quick learner with adaptability to changing project needs.
