Description
We are looking for a skilled Senior Desktop Support specialist to join our team in Dallas, Texas. In this Contract-to-Permanent role, you will provide expert technical support to ensure seamless operation of desktop systems and related technologies. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in troubleshooting, configuring, and maintaining IT systems in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution for desktop systems and software issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
Manage and deploy system images using Microsoft SCCM to maintain and update devices efficiently.
Utilize PowerShell scripting to automate routine IT tasks and enhance system performance.
Configure and support CUCM environments to ensure proper functionality of communication systems.
Perform hardware diagnostics and repairs to maintain optimal device performance.
Handle Active Directory tasks, including user account management and group policy updates.
Conduct basic network troubleshooting to resolve connectivity issues and ensure reliable access.
Deliver exceptional customer support by addressing technical inquiries and providing clear solutions.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT processes, configurations, and issue resolutions.
Collaborate with team members to implement IT best practices and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
Proven experience with Microsoft SCCM for system configuration and image deployment.
Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell for automation and system management.
Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and related desktop environments.
Familiarity with CUCM configuration and support.
Solid understanding of Active Directory, including user and group management.
Experience in hardware and software troubleshooting.
Basic networking knowledge for diagnosing and resolving connectivity issues.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
