Description

We are looking for a skilled Network Administrator to join our team in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining, securing, and optimizing our network infrastructure to ensure seamless operations. This position requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting, system monitoring, and implementing network solutions. This is a fully onsite role, Louisiana based candidates only please.

Responsibilities:

Manage and monitor the organization's network systems to maintain high performance and reliability.

Administer firewalls, VPNs, and Cisco routers to ensure network security and connectivity.

Oversee Active Directory operations, including user access management and group policy configuration.

Implement and maintain patch management processes to safeguard network integrity.

Provide technical support for local area networks (LAN) and troubleshoot connectivity issues.

Collaborate with teams to enhance network configurations and optimize system performance.

Enforce network security policies and ensure compliance with organizational standards.

Conduct regular system audits and performance evaluations to identify and resolve potential vulnerabilities.

Support internal systems critical to day-to-day operations and patient care.

Document network configurations, updates, and resolutions for future reference.

Requirements

Proven experience with firewall technologies and Cisco routers.
Strong knowledge of Active Directory management and configuration.
Expertise in Cisco networking and VPN administration.
Solid understanding of LAN technologies and troubleshooting.
Ability to monitor and optimize network performance effectively.
Experience with patch management processes and network security protocols.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills for collaboration across teams.
