Job Description

BAE Systems is seeking a Project Manager - Tech Writer for an exciting opportunity developing new capabilities for the Sentinel ICBM weapon system at Hill Air Force Base (AFB), Utah. This position will be accountable to the Program Manager for tasks and will serve as a focal point for assigned projects. As the Technical Writer for the program, this person will coordinate, write and review all documentation and media related to the program.

This position will directly support the NGRC Program. Duties will include providing support to the government leaders and engineers on all aspects of program documentation. This position will also be expected to assist in the preparation regular Program Management Review briefs on the status of each assigned project.

The Next Generation Reentry Capabilities (NGRC) program will design, develop, produce, and deploy new payload system suites (reentry vehicles and/or countermeasures). Key next generation payload attributes include enhancements in accuracy, lethality, and ICBM Reentry System/Reentry Vehicle (RS/RV) interoperable operations. Program activities will also include the employment of digital acquisitions through the application of digital engineering, agile software development, and open systems architectures.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • 6 years of progressive responsibility in providing technical leadership.
  • Due to its special-access, classified working environment, this position is only located at Hill AFB, Utah, and is not conducive to telework schedules.
  • Highly proficient with MS Word and Power Point.
  • Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
  • Pursuant to Government contract, this position requires ship.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

The ideal candidate will have experience with writing/editing government letters and documents.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $78930 - $134190

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
