Overview:
Ahold is seeking a high-impact Program Manager to lead the delivery of mission-critical network infrastructure initiatives focused on upgrading firewalls and access points within data centers. This is a strategic and highly visible role, ideal for someone who brings a blend of executive presence, operational excellence, and leadership in driving multiple interconnected projects to successful delivery.

What You'll Be Doing

<>Program Leadership & Execution</>
  • Own end-to-end delivery of 6 10 network-related workstreams, including firewall changes and access point implementations

  • Manage and guide Project Managers under your program, ensuring alignment across timelines, dependencies, and deliverables

  • Serve as the first point of contact for resolving roadblocks, escalating issues, and keeping delivery on track

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive program timelines, aligning project milestones with broader program objectives

  • Ensure scope, budget, and resource allocations are effectively managed across all sub-projects

<>Financial & Risk Management</>
  • Oversee program-level financials, including budgeting, tracking, forecasting, and reporting

  • Partner with project accountants and stakeholders to maintain visibility into cost and resource allocation

  • Drive risk identification and mitigation, and proactively manage program dependencies

<>Governance & Reporting</>
  • Establish and maintain a strong governance structure across all projects

  • Deliver clear, executive-level communication and reporting on program health, risks, and dependencies

  • Lead program documentation, retrospectives, and Clarity updates at closure

<>Cross-Functional Collaboration</>
  • Partner with engineering, infrastructure, and business teams to align execution with strategic goals

  • Coordinate with other Program Managers to navigate interdependencies

  • Participate in CAB/TAB meetings and Go/No-Go readiness assessments

<>People & Process Leadership</>
  • Mentor and coach Project Managers on delivery standards, stakeholder engagement, and process adherence

  • Enforce quality gates, phase approvals, and compliance with IT governance frameworks (ADUSA)

  • Continuously seek process improvements and contribute to internal Communities of Practice

Who You Are

  • A seasoned Program Manager with 10+ years of experience, including leadership of complex infrastructure initiatives

  • Have led programs with multiple Project Managers under you, driving success at the program level

  • Possess strong executive presence you re confident presenting to and influencing VP-level stakeholders

  • Known for your exceptional communication skills clear, concise, and strategic across all levels

  • Understand how to manage hybrid timelines and dependencies across multiple technical workstreams

  • Experienced in financial oversight, risk mitigation, and change management within IT programs

  • You are proactive, solutions-oriented, and thrive in collaborative, fast-paced environments

Bonus Skills (Nice-to-Haves)

  • Prior experience with mainframe infrastructure projects

  • Deep understanding of network engineering projects within data centers

  • Familiarity with tools like Clarity PPM, ServiceNow, or similar portfolio management tools.
