System integration Specialist

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced System Integration Specialist to support a payment system modernization project. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in JQ, Go, Python, and AWS, with a deep understanding of payment systems and RESTful API integration. This role focuses on ensuring seamless, secure, and efficient integration of payment processing solutions through configuration and development. Key Responsibilities Lead integration of payment routing engines with various gateways, processors, and financial institutions. Conduct technical analysis of existing systems to identify integration points and challenges. Design and implement APIs for communication between applications and payment acquirers. Configure and customize payment routing parameters based on business requirements. Collaborate with QA teams to develop and execute test plans for payment transactions. Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues to minimize downtime and disruptions. Optimize performance of payment routing processes and address bottlenecks. Create and maintain documentation for integration processes and troubleshooting procedures. Execute test cases/scripts, log and track defects, and retest as needed. Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to requirement clarification and test design. Required Qualifications Minimum 6 years of software engineering experience, with 4+ years in production environments. Proficiency in JQ and YQ for data manipulation. Strong programming skills in Go and Python. Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles. Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs. Familiarity with MySQL and AWS Aurora databases. Working knowledge of AWS services. Experience with tools like Postman, Git, and standard industry utilities. Strong understanding of JSON, XML, and API data interchange formats. Ability to coordinate with offshore teams and work in fast-paced environments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Go Templates. Familiarity with cloud-based testing and automation of data pipelines. Exposure to payment systems, financial services, and regulatory compliance. Education: Bachelors Degree
