Security Analyst Consultant

• Capable of technical communications with subject matter experts to resolve configuration / health issues for assets.
• Able to follow documentation and standard operating procedures to ensure checks are being done in a consistent manner.
• Has strong time management skills to ensure Daily, Weekly, and Monthly tasks are completed on time.
• Experience in building queries in Oracle to extract data.
• Strong scripting or Java skills to automate jobs.

Primary Responsibilities

• Reviewing and promoting changes in a file integrity monitor. This will involve:
  • Following up with teams that are responsible for providing business justifications for changes.
  • Ensuring the Business Reason makes sense for why the file(s) changed.
  • Promoting the changes with the Business Reasons received.
  • Escalating in cases where a change is unknown or a business reason is not received.
• Reviewing reports from a variety of systems (File Integrity Monitoring, Vulnerability Scanner, etc.) to ensure assets are:
  • Configured properly in their respective tools o In a healthy state
  • Completing scheduled jobs properly

Minimum Requirements

• Undergraduate Degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or Computer Science, or 4 years of equivalent experience in Information Technology
• 2-4 years experience with Windows or Unix systems
• 1-2 years experience with ticketing applications relating to information technology
