PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Work Locations: Onsite at US TX Houston ELD 6390 N Eldridge Pkwy
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the layout and design of assigned tasks within designated project(s).
- Obtain and seek guidance from Pumps & expendables Engineers on tasks and project(s).
- Provide required calculations and documentation for any checked and/or approved design.
- Utilize Solidworks, MathCad, Excel, Word and Power Point to create engineering documents and drawings to enable manufacture without ambiguity and to present findings/conclusions.
- Verify and check drawings and layouts.
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned while following NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
- Present results at end of employment term.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
- Knowledge of or exposure to mechanical systems and hydraulics.
- Familiarity with or exposure to Solidworks and MathCad.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel for data analysis and/or familiarity with other analysis tools
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate and engage with diverse groups of personnel
- Analytical skills and interpret data to drive decision-making.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Open-minded and receptive to feedback, with a commitment to ongoing improvement and development
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- Enrolled in a B.S Engineering program at an accredited university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
