What You Will Do :

The Guidehouse Internship Program staffs interns on real world projects, showcases the Guidehouse culture, and provides Interns with a meaningful consulting experience. Interns work with teams and provide real-time deliverables in support of the clients. Each Intern is paired with a Buddy to serve as a resource that can assist them in navigating their Guidehouse experience.

Highlights of our Internship Program include:
  • 10-week experience in the Summer of 2024 (Anticipated to start Monday, June 3rd and run until Friday, August 9th)
  • Learning & Development Sessions (both E-learning & Instructor-Led)
  • Performance management, including developing goals and holding Mid-Point and Final Evaluations
  • Networking & Social Activities and Events
  • Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Intern Event
  • Intern Speaker Series
  • Staffing on active Guidehouse projects
  • Collaborate with experienced engineers to conceive, design and build innovative features and solutions.
  • Use enterprise application frameworks (Java frameworks, Spring, Hibernate, ReactJS, Cloud computing frameworks) to build web applications.
  • Use basic tools from cloud platforms such as AWS.
  • Build secure applications by triaging security issues using tools to scan application for code quality and security vulnerabilities.


What You Will Need :
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program; Graduating with an undergraduate degree between December 2024 and Spring 2025; Majoring in the areas of Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or a related technical degree.
  • Hands on application experience through internships.
  • Knowledge of the following technologies: Java, Spring or ReactJS.
  • Must take direction well and be a motivated, self-starter.
  • Must have demonstrated analytical skills, strong communication skills, both written and oral, and teamwork skills.
  • Candidate must obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the country
  • No current or future sponsorship is available for this position or related conversion offers
