Communications Analyst

• Position: Communications Analyst
• Location: Hybrid- Fairfax, VA
• Position Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities:

• Document key stakeholder communication requirements.
• Ensure communication tasks are executed following the strategic plan.
• Create communication artifacts for various purposes, such as generating release notes at the end of each sprint.
• Create job aids for internal and external users for new features.
• Create various materials for internal and external users, including how-to guides and fact sheets.
• Attend sprint meetings (such as sprint reviews) to assist in creating sprint-related artifacts.
• Facilitate meetings as required.
• Document standard operating procedures.
• Optimize Outreach develop metrics and dashboards for improved communication efficiency.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with Jira/Confluence is preferred.
• The candidate must be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• A professional attitude regarding attention to detail, customer service, and excellent organizational skills are required.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse clients and staff are required.

Education/Experience Minimum Requirements:

• College degree; advanced preferred in the relevant area- A minimum of four (4) years of experience in communications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
