Job Description:

  • 84 months experience in the area of: Public Health information Systems such as Medicaid or the Childs Health Insurance Program
  • 84 months experience using Oracle products including: SQL Developer, SQL plus and executing SQL scripts using DBeaver to query Vertica and Oracle Databases
  • 84 months experience Working with Stakeholders and vendor in the entire project life cycle from requirement gathering to Implementation.
  • 60 months experience with handling transaction types such as EDI 837, EDI 834, FHIR etc., HIPAA standards, and various CMS Medicaid Reports such as TMSIS, CMS64 etc
  • 60 months experience in the analysis, design and testing of enterprise applications using JAVA/J2EE, XML, SOAP, DB2/Oracle and Web Services
  • 36 months experience in a large volume, billions of health care records Data Warehouse Environment processing billions of health care records, understanding of various ETL Databases like Source, Staging and Publishing and the related Row and Column Level security.
  • Masters/ Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology

Detailed Description: The position is being requested for the Medicaid Data Warehouse Bureau. Medicaid Data Warehouse is the primary repository for Medicaid in New York State and is the main provider of Business Intelligence on Medicaid Data. The Bureau is comprised of two functional areas, the Medicaid Data Warehouse (MDW) and the Medicaid Analytics Performance Portal (MAPP). The MDW includes the Medicaid Information Services Center, a Data Warehouse, business Intelligence capabilities, reporting capabilities, provides user support and answers litigation requests. MAPP includes Health Homes and Value Based Payment (VBP) projects.
