Datacenter Hardware Support

Location: Plano, Texas

Need local candidates

Key Responsibilities:

Respond promptly to server outages and issues within the data center.

Perform diagnostics on down servers, identify root causes, and work quickly to restore functionality.

Utilize remote management tools and hardware diagnostic systems to troubleshoot hardware failures.

Hardware Repair and Replacement:

Perform hardware replacements and repairs as needed, including but not limited to server components, CPUs, hard drives, memory modules, and power supplies.

Documentation and Reporting:

Accurately document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and vendor case details in ticketing systems.

Generate reports on system outages, hardware replacements, and overall performance trends.

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of server hardware and components, including troubleshooting techniques for processors, memory, storage, and networking.

Proficiency of Linux OS command-line

Experience with data center management and remote server monitoring tools.

Familiarity with system diagnostics and management software (e.g., Dell OpenManage, HP iLO, Lenovo XClarity).

Hands-on experience in hardware repair and part replacement in enterprise server environments.
