Job Details

CTG is seeking to fill a Software Developer 3 opening for our client in Austin, TX.

Location: Austin, TX - Onsite once a month, remote on all other days
Duration: 3 months

No C2C please, W2 only

Duties:
The Software Developer 3 will provide application support including analysis of application functions, data processing, and resolving data issues to ensure continuity of services. Responsibilities include editing and correcting existing applications, as well as developing new software solutions to address technical problems as they arise. The candidate will also be responsible for creating and maintaining support documentation for both new and existing software applications.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Visual Basic (VB) development

  • Strong Java development skills

  • Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, including database and query development

  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot application functionality

  • Capable of documenting software processes and changes effectively

Experience:

  • 8 years of Visual Basic (VB) Development Experience Required

  • 8 years of Java Development Required

  • 8 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server Required

Education:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
  • Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
