Job Description
DUTIES: Design and develop software and web applications in an Agile development environment using Java, Go, and C++; build ad tech systems including ad servers, yield optimizers, bidders and pacers, and targeting reach estimation systems, and develop associated infrastructure including Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS; develop system software within the full software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including performing software design, prototyping, implementation, and testing; work within MySQL database; analyze data using Grafana; build CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins; work with DNS and Akamai concepts and operations, including DNS resolution, zone configuration, and record types including A, CNAME, and MX; work with networking protocols, including TCP, UDP, HTTP, HTTPS, and SSH; plan, lead, and collaborate with various teams in designing and presenting architecture; support applications under development, and customize current applications; assist with the software update process for existing applications, and roll-outs of software releases; analyze, test, and assist with the integration of new applications; document all development activity; research, write, and edit documentation and technical requirements, including evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals and formal recommendations and reports; monitor and evaluate competitive applications and products; review literature, patents, and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects; support production issues from the customers, including code level debug, identify root cause, and providing fix plan; collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements; conduct analysis to determine integration needs; and work with the Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements. Position is eligible to work remotely within normal commuting distance of the worksite.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and two (2) years of experience developing software in an Agile development environment; developing system software within the full software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including performing software design, prototyping, implementation, and testing; working with networking protocols, including TCP, UDP, HTTP, HTTPS, and SSH; of which one (1) year includes using Java, Go, and C++; building ad tech systems including ad servers, yield optimizers, bidders and pacers, and targeting reach estimation systems, and developing associated infrastructure including Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS; working within MySQL database; analyzing data using Grafana; building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins; and working with DNS and Akamai concepts and operations, including DNS resolution, zone configuration, and record types including A, CNAME, and MX.
